Swallowtails @ Strumpshaw Fen

Had a great day at Strumpshaw Fen seeing the newly emerged swallowtail butterflies. What a true delight to see them and photograph them.  Last year we went however was towards the end of the season, so highly recommend anyone wanting to see them in pristine condition gets there now :-) amazing day and 1100 photographs later headed home. Worth the  5 hour round journey to see thses delightful butterflies
